PWH is run by writer, photographer and walking guide, Pete Hawkins, who has been leading walking holidays in the Peak National Park for over 21 years.

Pete runs short walking breaks from the village of Tideswell in the Peak District throughout the year. Occasionally he also organises trips to other stunning walking destinations like Slovenia and Finland.

One important aspect of Pete's work are the Silva-sponsored Map and Compass Courses, again run from Tideswell.
